stella labs, s.r.o.

stella is an open-source legal workspace for matters, documents, legal research, drafting and structured document review. Its AI agent works across matter files and selected official legal and company registry sources with source-linked answers. Tabular Review extracts structured, cited answers across document sets for due diligence and contract review, while reusable templates, clauses and review playbooks support drafting and repeatable legal workflows. The workspace is searchable across matters and can be used as a managed cloud service or self-hosted.

Notes
stella states that hosted workspace content is not used by stella to train AI models. Its hosted service stores data in AWS’s Frankfurt region and uses encryption in transit and at rest, organisation and workspace isolation, role-based permissions and audit logging. AI features use providers configured by the organisation, so content sent to an external AI provider is handled under the organisation’s agreement with that provider. Self-hosted deployments run on the organisation’s own infrastructure.
