About the archive

Legal AI Archive is an independent directory of AI tools for substantive legal work, compiled from public vendor and project information. It exists to help legal professionals see the field clearly — across the full range from open-source projects to commercial platforms — without rankings, endorsements or marketing spin.

The archive is free to browse and requires no account. It does not quality-rank, recommend, endorse, verify or certify any tool. For how listings are compiled and categorised, see the methodology.
