- Ironclad’s security portal lists ISO/IEC 27001, 27017, 27018 and 27701 certifications, together with SOC 1 Type II and SOC 2 assurance. Separate vendor security materials expressly state that Ironclad undergoes SOC 1 and SOC 2 Type II audits. Vendor materials also describe encryption in transit and at rest, role-based permissions, audit controls and optional customer-held encryption keys. Ironclad states that it does not use data for AI training unless an organisation has explicitly opted in. By default, all current customers are opted out. Some new customers may be opted in by default, but administrators can change this setting at any time. Ironclad will only use customer data for AI training if the organisation has chosen to opt in (or remains opted in).
