- Vendor materials state that Gavel Exec is SOC 2 Type I certified and uses zero data retention agreements with AI providers, including OpenAI, under which submitted data is not retained or used to train their models. Gavel also describes encryption in transit and at rest, isolated customer databases, annual third-party security testing and data residency options. Customer data intentionally stored within Gavel remains under the customer’s retention and deletion controls.
